PERENNIAL : Height: 30 cm ( 12 in.). USE: pots. SOWING: mid/late summer. FLOWERING: late summer/winter according to date sown. Sow in boxes in a mixture of leaf mold and heath mold. Prick out during winter, keep the plants in a hothouse or in a heated verandah. In spring transplant in 12 cm (5 in) pot, keep in semi-shade in summer.
Ipomea Rubro Cerulea
Annual. Height: 5 m ( 16 ft.). Use: climbing plant. Sowing: all spring. Flowering: summer to autumn. Late spring sows straight in the garden 2 cm ( 3/4 in.) deep. Early spring: sow 3 to 5 seeds per pot, place undercover, then transplant 40 cm ( 16 in.) apart, without breaking the clod. Stakeout if necessary
